Pacific Northwest Historics 2007
My buddy Britton hooked a few VMFers (myself included) up with tickets to the Pacific Northwest Historics vintage races at Pacific Raceways today!Ah the sweet, sweet sounds of a small block Ford and the even sweeter smell of combusted race gas wafting up through the evergreens.
As it turns out, heaven isn't in Iowa....it's in Kent, WA.
I know, I'm as shocked as you are. Who'd a thunk it? ;)
We saw Parnelli Jones and Vic Edelbrock.
Even had a chance to chat with Jay Bittle (nice guy) while he adjusted his valves after a failed throttle linkage sent his tach to 9k on a cool-down lap! It was his first time at Pacific so he quizzed us local hacks for tips. :shocked:
